Social Studies: Today we continued talking about the Vikings and discussed how they wrote using Runes.

Science: Today the students read an article about photosynthesis and answered questions. We discussed the article and questions at the end of class.

Science: Today we reviewed notes and worked on a couple extra projects to help them study for their test they will have on Friday.
Social Studies: Today the students took an open note quiz over all the Native Americans they learned about.

Writing: We did not have writing today due to early release.

Science: Today we took science notes and discussed what they need to know for the science test for Friday. The circled bullets are the material they need to know for the test. The students also completed a foldable for the vocabulary that will also be on the test.

Social Studies: The students because reading and high lighting important information about the Great Basin Native Americans. We read it together as a class and discussed what they needed to highlight.


Writing: The students continued on their writing assessment.

Science: Today the students watched two short videos about food chains and we discussed and played a game to help the students understand food chains.

Social Studies: Today the students completed this worksheet about the Eastern Native Americans. We discussed it together as a class.
Writing: The students began their writing assessment.

Science: Today the students took an open note test over Newton's Laws.

Social Studies: Today we discussed the Eastern Woodland Native Americans.









Writing: The students continued their National Geographic writing assignments.

Science: Today we discussed homework and reviewed for the test they students are having tomorrow by practicing Newton's Three Laws of Motion. We discussed and completed the Friction and Newton's second law worksheet in class.  I also sent home two review worksheets to help them study for their test.

Social Studies: We discussed Eastern Woodland Native Americans and made a vocabulary foldable over words we discussed. 
Writing: The students went to specials during this time.

Social Studies: We read and discussed the Eastern Woodland Native Americans.
Writing: The students continued their writing projects over an article from a National Geographic.
